Designed towards an open lab concept that focuses on the types of researchers that would occupy the space and what they need to support their work processes. The renovations to Goss Laboratory were funded by a grant from the National Institute of Health, to help achieve a space dedicated to infectious disease research that would attract and retain top veterinary scent research professionals. The design renovation boasts flexible lab space through out that are lit with natural light. Also added were DSL-2 tissue culture labs, equipment rooms and an open office workspace for graduate student collaboration.
