Having outgrown its aging home, ESL has partnered with SciTech to occupy space in an innovative, new 40,580ft2 facility that showcases the laboratory's unique talents, history and demonstrated ability to carry out cutting-edge research. Tentatively called the Wireless Communication/Radio Frequency Research Building, the new facility will house approximately 100 faculty, researchers, staff and students and be connected to the current ESL building via a walkway.

* 26,580sqft. for offices, computing facility, multimedia creation room, and interactive conferencing room
* Historical display area and Hall of Fame walkway to the existing building to highlight our research accomplishments and several of our illustrious alumni
* 14,000sqft. of laboratory space for ESL and rental space for corporations interested in establishing a relationship with the College of Engineering
